It was extremely difficult to find accomodations in Venice. All of the hotels recommended in guide were booked or outrageously expenseive, so we found the Alla Fava as a secondary choice. So nice little hotel with a delightful room overlooking the canal..what else? I just paid 135,00 euro per night, during high season. Perfect position, quiet but in the center just 2 minutes by feet from rialto and 5 from san marco. I reccomend it! more
