What a marvelous find!! I found this hotel/bed and breakfast on venere.com, but searched the web for reviews then booked directly with the hotels website. One cannot do better in Venice for a normal price than in this beautiful Residenza. The completely refurbished old Venetian house leads you back to another era. Located in a nice quiet square but with some lovely bars and restaurants nearby. 10mins to Rialto, 10 mins to station. Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast basic but ok. The double superior room we stayed in was very big (didnt expect this in Venice) and the hotel / rooms were very clean. Overall great stay and would go back. more

Found this B&B on Venere.com and ended up booking directly with them via their web site. Response was prompt and price seemed right for the room we got. We stayed in their large room called Jr Suite. This B&B is placed in a very nice and quite area (Santa Croce) far away from awfully crowded places like Rialto or San Marco surroundings but very close to two vaporetto stops (S. Stae and Riva di Biaso) and a short walk from everywhere. The B&B is difficult to find because there is no visible sign in the building wich... more
