Stayed for 2 nights in Venice in the Hotel Acca. It was very friendly - the owner offered to come and find us when we got lost at 11 pm coming from the vaperetto (boat bus). Clean cosy rooms. It was our first time in Venice. The hotel is a little be hard to find, but it´s ok.....a peaceful place when you can feel the spirit of the city. The bedroom is confortable, and the Staff was perfect!! The atractions is not so far...and there is one restaurant near very nice!! more

We booked the Hotel Acca on-line and found everything to our satisfaction. The room was spacious, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was easy to find with some instruction, and was located near a very pleasant square. Lucca (proprietor) was easily contactable. We have been to Venice before and stayed in very small rooms, that are considered 3 star hotels, which is typical of Europe and especially Venice. Lovely hotel off Campo San Polo within 5 minutes walk to Rialto Bridge. There is a small courtyard where you can eat breakfast. Lovely bedroom and bathroom. Host waiting for us on arrival and let us leave luggage on day of departure. more

This was the nicest hotel we stayed at in Italy. It has a great location, right off Campo San Polo within easy walking distance of the Rialto Bridge. The host was very charming and helpful. The furnishings were beautiful, and the plumbing was way above average for Italy. more
