great location. Claudete speaks great English and is very helpful. Just print the map from her website as there are several streets with the same name in Venice (hard too believe I know) but we learnt the hard way by wandering around the wrong one trying to find a street number that didn't exist more

We found this B&B in our Frommer's guidebook. As Pauline says the rooms are simple and functional. The host was not around much except in the morning to bring breakfast to our room but she was very nice and helped us out by giving us a map and restaurant/sightseeing recommendations. We stayed 5 nights recently and were very happy with everything. The breakfast was ample, the room huge, our bathroom was massive and clean too. Be aware of two things: the Venetians in the alley where the window looks out start work very early and there's one bloke who whistles a horrible tune. Other than that, the place is dead... more
