It is as others have reviewed it-friendly, clean, perfectly located, and the price is very acceptable for Venice's standards. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for something very clean and serviceable. We were more than pleased with the cleanliness. Bathroom especially was sparkling. The staff is very friendly. We arrived after 10PM, and the staff stayed around until we arrived. And they upgraded us to a larger room for 2 of our 3 days.... more

I can say enough about Casa del Melograno and its staff. We just stayed there in May and Pierluigi and his staff were wonderful. Melograno was a great place to stay - just off the beaten track of the Strada Nuova and walking distance to everything. The breakfast was exceptional - simple but lots of croissants, bread rolls etc. The room was very clean and spacious with a very comfortable massive bed. We stayed two nights over Easter weekend and loved this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location is superb. It took us just a few minutes to walk from the train station and it's also very convenient to get groceries from Billa Supermarket on Strada Nuova. more

We stay here for 4(four) nights. It is good place to stay in Venice only couple minuts walking for water buses (vaporetto) station. Wonderfull staff especially Pierre-Luigi. Clean rooms. We would be very happy to stay here again more

The staff were fantastic and even when I arrived very late at night they were there to greet me and help. I had the single room and it was perfect. Breakfast each day was included in the price of 60 euros. I booked last minute and it was perfect. more
