Our traveling group of three stayed in two rooms at the Ca' Bonvicini in late October 2008 and found this modern, quiet B&B to be ideally located and a good value for expensive Venice. First the location: on a side canal in San Polo, roughly halfway between Campo San Cassiano and Campo San Polo. To our tastes, the neighborhoods of... more

Lovely small hotel. In a good location, but happily, not crowded with throngs of tourist. A very friendly housekeeper greeted us and spoke English. She gave us helpful information about the hotel and our room. The hotel was very clean and beautifully furnished. Walls were upholstered in fabric; beautiful, modern, rather large bathroom with window. We had to leave very... more

We stayed at this lovely little hotel for two days in October following a two-week cruise. It is a treasure and looks just like the pictures on the website. It was a palace in the late 17th century and some of the rooms have a nice view of the canal. Sabina, the hostess, was very helpful with everything during our... more

Our recent stay at the Ca' Bonvicini was wonderful. It was minutes from the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square, but off the tourist track. We arrived by vaporetto and followed the path to the hotel. Our rooms were lovely, very modern and comfortable with a certain elegance and glamour. Sabina and Matteo were very helpful, before our arrival and... more

A step back in time when we visited Venice and booked overnight accomodation with bed & breakfast. The hotel looked nothing from outside but once inside it was like stepping back in time to the glorious days of luxurious decor ,big rooms ,great big bed and breakfast brought direct to the room. The owner & staff were all very helpful and the... more

We stayed at the Ca' Bonvicini in early October, and cannot speak highly enough of our experience. I can't imagine a nicer B&B in Venice. We stayed in one of the canal view rooms with a balcony, and were very impressed by the decor and cleanliness of our room. I should point out that everything (including the bathrooms) is very... more

We are a young couple and fairly low-maintenance travelers, and Ca' Bonvicini was exactly what we were looking for. Centrally located, Venitian decor, helpful staff, and reasonable rates. We highly recommend the canal room, which was excellent for a late afternoon wine & cheese on the balcony. If you are looking for the quintessential Venice B&B, this is for you. more

My wife and I stayed at Ca' Bonvicini back in late May based on the favorable reviews we saw on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The hotel was immaculate... very clean and well-appointed. The quality of the room was impeccable for the price (relative to Venice standards), and we were thoroughly pleased. The photo gallery on the hotel's website... more

This is a great find! Each room has a different charm. If you have traveled in Europe and stayed in tourist class hotels and BnB you will appreciate Ca' Bonvicini for how they provide the most they can in a building from the 1700s. We had 3 rooms for our group of seven friends and family. All adults 20s to... more

My boyfriend and I visited Venice during February and although out of season, still struggled to find somewhere of a high standard that was within our price range. After coming across the ca bonvicini website quite by accident we knew we had found what we were looking for. Sabina was incredibly helpful both during the booking process and our stay... more
