This was the second stop on our honeymoon and this was a great base to explore Venice. 20 minute walk to the Rialto bridge and 30 minutes including a ride on the Vaparetto to St Mark's Square. The room was really nicely decorated with comfortable bed, a/c and bath with shower attachment. Hotel staff were very pleasant and recommended a... more

Just spent two nights at Hotel Ai Mori'oriente in gorgeous Venice. I had been to this hotel twice before and had loved the location and exotic decor. The hotel still retains a charm and interesting appearance and is a bit off the beaten track where delicious and less expensive restaurants abound in an area just near the Venetian Jewish ghetto,... more

We went to several places on our European adventure and my husband was responsible for finding/booking the Venice hotel room. I was skeptical b/c he said it was somewhat out of the main tourist area. Well, he did an excellent job and this was the best hotel of our trip! Don't get me wrong--it's not a super luxurious hotel, but... more

Arrived at the hotel to be told there was a problem with the electrics in the room. They arranged for us to stay in a nearby hotel room for 1 night and collected and delivered our bags to and from the new hotel. For the inconvenience they upgraded our room for the remainder of the the stay and gave us... more

As this was the first destination on our honeymoon, the pressure was on for this to be a good choice. Having already read the reviews, we were still apprehensive, but there was no need to be. This hotel was a great start to a fantastic holiday and just what we hoped for. The location is lovely. It is on a... more

We travel a lot and were very pleasantly surprised with our stay here. The room was absolutely beautiful and I am one of those people that dont plan on spending much time in our room when we travel. The details were fabulous! Very warm, romantic and comfortable and functional. The hotel is right on a canal and within easy walking... more

This place was great. Away from all of the hustle/bustle but a 5 minute walk from the shops, farmers market and gelatto! The staff was fabulous. We were there 3 nights. The breakfast was fairly good-continental. Only one warning. They put us in rooms in the 500 section which was underground almost-like being in a basement. No view. Granted we... more

You also get lots of complimentary stuff from soaps to cotton wool! Also you can use the mini fridge to keep your drinks cool. Rest of hotel: Is really nice very unusual lay out but thats... more

Hotel was recommended by a friend. We brought them home a nice present! Romantic location away from hectic St. Mark’s Square in a true Venetian neighborhood with great (and reasonable) restaurants and local shops. Just a few minutes from both Laguna and Vaporetto stops. Hotel impeccably clean, staff consummately professional. Rooms distinctively decorated and surprisingly spacious for Europe. Breakfast was... more

Nice hotel in Venice. Friendly staff and clean, cozy rooms. If we are ever going back to Venice we will more than likely stay in this hotel again. more
