I booked a night at Palazzo Roma after a cruise just to have a decent sleep before flying home. It proved a very great deal for the money and we surely got a lot, lot more. The location is priceless. Located near a small church plaza by a narrow canal, in the midst of shops and beautiful old buildings ,... more

We loved this hotel. I was a little suspicious, at first, about staying in a tiny hotel. It only has 6 rooms, but what a wonderful experience. It is one floor of an old palazzo. It was difficult to find, so get directions. It is really just straight back from the boat drop off from the airport, but it is... more

my boyfriend and i stayed here because the reviews were great and it was the only decent hotel we could find in venice that was not on the mestre (mainland) and was affordable. It was 45euro ppn and in a very handy location. We didnt stay in the hotel itself, the guy brought us over to a nearby appartment with... more

Stayed 2 nights at the secondary location of the Palazzo Rosa. A partially renovated building one floor under renovation, second contained a few renovated rooms (no elevator). Our triple room was OK though furnished with some old furniture. The bathroom was so small it was difficult to reach the toilet. Breakfast does not get any more meager than this. One... more

Although the entrance on the ground floor is a little run down (to be expected - it's Venice!), our room - a triple - was nice. The beds were COMFORTABLE and the room large. We had to blitz Venice as we were only there for 1/2 a day. The Palazzo Rosa was the perfect, central location. Although it is on... more

This hotel was a fine place for our family with two young children. Yes, it is true that there are a lot of stairs to negotiate for the suite (typical of Venice) , and the suite for 4 with a spiral staircase may be a bit challenging for a less than nimble traveller, but we had help with our luggage... more

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel immensely! As with everything in Venice, the hotel is not marked with a big sign, so follow the directions to the letter! It's located at the end of an alley that looks like it's actually an outdoor restaurant. The staff greeted us as if we were family! Very friendly and genuine! The room... more

Very comfortable, small hotel just 5 mins from Rialto. We had a large double room with windows overlooking the small canal. It had a king sized bed, and was very clean and tastefully furnished, with newly redocorated ensuite facilities. Coffee, rolls and croissants were fine for breakfast, served by the very friendly owner - who recommended a visit to Burano... more

Me and my boyfriend had been researching the net for weeks before booking our hotel, we wanted somewhere affordable and good location... we finally booked the Palazzo Rosa 270euro(£180) for three nights! The location was perfect, a few blocks away from the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square. Few restaurants around the hotel. The staff were very helpful and really... more

The experience we had when we stayed at Palazzo Rosa, a family owned hotel, was great. The staff is very professional and the room conditions are excellent (clean and neatly organized, and spacious). Getting there was very easy and convenient using a vaporetto with the aid of a small local map. The hotel entrance does not have a spectacular sign... more
