Better than Expected!! the hotel is very basic hotel, but not bad at all/// very close to train station. we actually walked with out laggage for about 5 minutes. The room was small, but clean. Bathroom was very clean and new with this new fansy shower. The breakfast was fine.. but served in very small room. so some people had... more
I guess you pay for what you get. Hotel is up a very narrow dark alley way but is very close to the Santa Lucia railway station and on the main Venice island. Hotel is extremely basic and breakfast room is too small for the amount of guests. You may be asked to take breakfast in a neighbouring hotel (part... more
After reading reviews of Atlantide Hotel, I was quite apprehensive about staying there but their winter promotion rate on their website was too good to pass. So, my husband and I and our kids (14 & 16) stayed there on 20 & 21 Nov 2007. The location was so convenient as it was less than 5 mins walk from the... more
I've been a dozen times to Venice, but i've never felt soo good as at Hotel Atlantide. The hotel is really simple and clean, and the staff is kind and friendly. The location has no comparisons. It takes less than 3 minutes walking from the train station, without crossing any bridge, in a very quiet calle but just 20 metres... more
Just returned from three night stay in this two star hotel ~ rooms are basic but clean en-suite showers are small but acceptable - towels changed daily - rooms cleaned daily etc. staff were very friendly and helpful. If considering this hotel bear in mind it is mostly young students who can be noisy so if this is a problem... more
This 'hotel' is one of the most awful hotels I have ever seen, it was so bad that my friend and I decided we couldn't stay there. The receptionist gives out the keys to anyone, or just tells them to take the keys...when we were there (for about 2 hours!) the place was full of drunk teenagers, playing really loud... more
I stayed at the Atlantide recently with a group of 20 students. The position is excellent, but the hotel desperately needs some TLC. The students rooms were very basic, many with broken door knobs, smashed shower doors, holes kicked in walls, pealing wallpaper, dirty blankets, broken bunks. I was given a single room which on entering the smell nearly made me... more
Hotel Atlantide turned out to be a good deal for the 52 Euros a night we paid for our January stay in Venice. The staff was very nice, helpfull and spoke English quite well. The location is great as it is right next to the train station and it is in a side alley (make yourself a very detailed map... more
Booked thru RatesToGo for Euro 70 for a double bed with shower, so my bf and I didn't expect much from it. Especially after staying in a no-facility hotel in the next street for a much more expensive price. Surprisingly, although room is small but it has everything you needed. Bed is comfortable, shower is recently renovated. It is clean... more
