Cannot fault the Minerva & Nettuno as a budget option for Venice. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the train station and grand canal. We chose this place because it was the cheapest hotel (70 euro for a double) we could find that was actually in Venice (rather than Lido or Mestre).
