This hotel is an easy walk from either the train station or Piazzale Roma, where rental cars are returned. There are 2 bridges to cross. The rooms are small but comfortable, but for the price, we thought it was overpriced. We only stayed here because we were only staying 2 nights in Venice on this trip; otherwise we would have... more

i was so excited to stay at this boutique hotel but our experience was clouded by the unfriendliness of alessandro, the owner. the hotel is a very pretty place, exactly what we expected from the website (although our room was so small that we had no where to put one of our suitcases). when we arrived the owner took our... more

My family and I spent 4 nights here in March 2008. We found it easy to get to and in close proximity to the major attractions in Venice. The staff were always couteous and particularly helpful in providing unbiased advice about Venice. I have recommended this hotel to friends who have also stayed there - with the same compliments that... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this boutique B&B for Valentines just before the masquerade carnival and it was truly lovely place to stay. The entrance to the hotel is truly enchanting with big wooden double-doors that lead into a typically Italian courtyard which feels centuries old. When we arrived we were greeted by the immaculately dressed owner (typically Italian!)... more

Palazzo Odoni was a wonderful place to stay while in Venice. We arrived via autobus to the Piazzale Roma and took the short walk to the hotel. We only had to cross 2 bridges to arrive at the hotel, which was nice since we were dragging our suitcases behind us. (We could have taken a taxi directly to the front... more

The Palazzo Odoni was a good choice for the price range. I checked their website frequently and the prices dropped about a month and a half prior to our stay. The courtyard is pretty, but not quite as pictured on the website. The archway was filled with plastic crates, boxes, etc. There were no candles, but it was still a... more

Venice was our first stop in Italy on our family trip this spring. We wanted something a bit off the beaten track and took a flyer on this B&B. It was very easy to find and after walking from the train station, Allesandro was there to help us with our bags. Our room was stunning, high ceiling, ultramodern bathroom, excellent... more

This is a very charming hotel! Our room was a very nice size, esp. by Venice standards . I loved the breakfast in the morning! The coffee was delicious and the darling courtyard is so inviting when you first arrive. It's in a fabulous location; it's literally a few blocks from the main Piazza/bus depot. We were there for one... more

Read reviews on number of sites. They influenced decision to stay here. We were NOT disappointed. Lovely place, rooms brilliant, very attentive staff & the smell of cooking wafting up the stairs in the morning, Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Entrance looks fabulous returning in the evening with steps lit by candle. Amazing. Only drawback is the number of steps... more

We researched the hotel online and read all the wonderful reviews on the Odoni. They were all true. The hotel is delightful and the number of stairs to climb is well worth the effort! I'm 60 and carried two fairly large cruise bags to our room on the top floor with not that much effort. We had a superior room... more
