very good location (close to main tourist attractions but very quiet), nice rooms, very clean, good (new) bathrooms, breakfast ok but not super, only disadvantage: our room (number 2) was close to the reception and we could hear everything. Luckily for us there weren't that many guests. more

My wife and I stayed at the Palazzo Guardi from September 15 thru the 17th, 2008. It is not in a bad location in Venice as it is relatively close to all of the main attractions other than the isle of Lido and Murano. One can walk to most of the main atteractions in Venice. The hotel is located relatively... more

Stayed at this hotel after arriving by cruise ship at Venice. We were able to reach the hotel by taking the waterbus from the cruise terminal. Our room was in an annex separate from the main hotel which directly overlooked a canal. Room décor was very nice and very spacious. Bathroom was also nice except for the fact that the... more

Stayed at the annex. Huge room overlooking canal and bridge with lovely bathroom. All amenities -wifi, small tv and good aircon. Excellent position behind Accademia Gallery, lovely shops and restaurants across small bridge, including store which supplied masks for Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut." Nice breakfast in room adjoining our 'junior suite'. Definitely recommend but did not see rooms in actual... more

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Palzzo Guardi in Venice this past August and really enjoyed our stay there. Unless you are taking a Waer Taxi from the airport (Very expensive), take the bus to Piazzale Roma and then Line 1 vaporetto to Academia. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the boat stop. When... more

We just came back from 3 nights stay at this hotel. It is a good find for us. the room is quite spacious, it is close to most sites via walking (15 walk to St Mark Square) or ferry. The owner Lucio speaks very good English and is extremely helpful. There is a tall Asian guy there in the evenings,... more

We spent 3 nights here in the annex. Our room had 2 windows overlooking the canal and the bridge. The room was huge, we had 5 people in 2 double beds and one single. Breakfast was perfectly fine, the attendant was very friendly. Like others we enjoyed having our own apartment. The AC worked well, the bathroom was updated with... more

We were in the annexe, but this was right by the canal on Fond. Priuli so in a pefect position. We had our own front door key, so it was like having our own apartment. Great position - just 2 minutes from the Accademia vaparetto, and 5 from Zattere. Breakfast perfectly adequate and plentiful, as long as you don't want... more

We have just returned from a lovely romantic weekend in Venice! Hotel is lovely, Quaint is probably the better word to describe! I agree with some of the other recent reviews, (the lift is really little, two people literally nose to nose! ) and Very slow! We too were bitten by mozzi's but hey, who isnt when they are abroad!?... more

I booked a double room on the day of our stay for 130 Euros (on a saturday night). The room was nothing special- just a bed and small window. Three of us slept in the room, not realizing that the hotel charges per person, rather than per reservation. Instead of politely telling us, the owner of the hotel turns off... more
