This is a very good place for a base in this bewildering city, particularily for new visitors. The certainty of easy return gives a great sense of ease and allows fearless exploration. The rooms are reasonably sized (particularily for Venice ! ) and the hotel is extremely well managed.Get off at Salute on the no. 1 route, cross first little wooden bridge on right... more

<Locanda Ca' Zose is a wonderful privately owned small hotel well located, just 3-4 mins walk from the Salute boat stop and an easy walk 7-8 mins to the Academia. The two sisters who own the hotel and their staff are very helpful. The rooms whilst not large are not too small either and everything is clean and comfortable. Breakfast... more

This is a quiet, very comfortable place to stay. My standard room was nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. It had been cleverly furnished so it didn't seem too small at all. Other reviewers have mentioned small showers - well I'm hardly tiny and I didn't find it a problem. I actually found the shower really good. Yes,... more

Stayed at the Ca Zose for 2 nights. Nice location, not on the busy tourist route which I think would be noisy. Nice staff. Breakfast was adequate with cereal, pastries, coffee, yogurt, etc. Internet access was challenging -- had to pay for it in 15 minute increments and it's monitored by the government apparently due to terrorism and pedofile issues... more

This hotel is everything we expected based on the price relative to everything else in Venice. The location is convenient with a 10 min. walk to Rialto and St. Marks. Rooms are decently furnished, but much less luxiurous than their website makes them look. Service was good, but nothing special. The only negatives are - extremely small shower and the... more

Dear Guests many thanks for your review I just want to clarify a couple of points: for “decently furnished “ and “ much less luxiurous than their website “ the furnished for all the rooms are the same like on the pictures on the web site ...... and made by hand from venetian craftmen! “ Service was good, but nothing...

We had 4 nights at Ca Zose in mid-September. Our 2nd time there. We had an excellent, spotless, air-conditioned room. Valentina and Graziella, and all their staff, made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was good (and the coffee excellent). A really great, really friendly, place to stay. We'll definitely be back! more

My Husband and I stayed at the Ca Zose for 3 nights at the end of Sept. 2007. Venice is the most unique and interesting city. Getting to the hotel on the Vaperetto was fun and the hotel itself is very close to the "bus/boat" stop. OUr room was very nice and very quiet. The location is the key, you... more

A second stay here, on this occasion of four nights, confirms Ca' Zose as a good option for those who spend their days in Venice sightseeing rather than lounging around their hotel. The location is excellent, a short walk from the Zattere water-bus stop for the airport and one stop by vaporetto from San Marco. Arriving at the Salute church... more

This is a little hotel that is out of the hustle and bustle- just a vaporetto ride accross the canal from Piazza San Marco. The two women owners were helpful and gave excellent dinner recommendations, but the room was very small and looked right at people's balconies in the apartments accross the alleyway. The pillows were literally two inches thick,... more

This B&B is located in the Dorsoduro section of Venice, a quiet residential area, very close to the Peggy Guggenheim museum. We found all of the main attractions to be within easy walking distance, but it was great to come home to a quieter street, away from the noise and crowds. The staff was extremely accommodating, even offering coffee and... more
