We visited to celabrate my husbands 60th birthday and everything was wonderful. the hotel staff are fabulous and do take advantage of their knowledge about restaurants-the one meal that we had without their recommendation was the worst! tea, cocktails etc in the garden all perfect. A fantastic hotel, warm welcome and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast in the garden was delicious and tranquil. Lit up with fairy lights at night. A few (quiet) minutes walk away from a busy street with lovely shops, restaurants etc. Near to water bus stops. Would highly recommend it. Canal works still going on but not really invasive. more

The hotel was wonderful. It was quiet, everything was clean, and the rooms were beautiful. It was like staying in a museum. Service is great. The owner is a wonderful woman who was there every morning at breakfast. The breakfast was also good, far better than the other places we stayed. Very Venetian, great staff, wonderful breakfast, close to all major attraction but quiet area, great location.
