Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is perfect - a short walk from San Marco square, but off the beaten path enough to be a quiet retreat. Good location and great breakfast but a basic hotel. The location is within a 5 minute walk of St. Mark's square. Just returned from a 4-night stay at this hotel. We stayed in room #25 which had two windows that opened to the canal, with boats and gondolas strolling by quite frequently.
