We booked the Ca' Amadi through it's own website, and got a fantastic rate for a double room. On arrival, we were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge (this was probably because of a concert close by at the Rialto Market area). The Suite - simply fantastic! I'd have been impressed if I'd been paying the rate they... more

We found this wonderful place through Trip Advisor and must thank you immensely. Knowing that it was hard to find, we sprung for a water taxi from the airport through the hotel but they will tell you other cheaper ways too. The management was extremely helpful answering email questions ahead of time and also when we got there. We stayed... more

Our children booked us into this hotel for our 25th wedding anniversary in March 2006. It was marvellous. We had a wonderfully over the top suite which overlooked one of the small canals near the Rialto bridge. The hotel isn't that easy to find on arrival but once you have got your bearings it really couldn't be in a better... more

I liked everything about this hotel except the bed. This was the only city in Italy that I had to come back and nap because I slept so poorly. The bed feels like a slab of marble or something.... but the location is so fantastic that it is hard to pass up. Bring your own pillow or buy one you... more

My boyfriend took me to Venice in November for my birthday and we stayed in the Locanda Ca'Amadi. I couldn't recommend it more highly! It is conveniently located near the Rialto Bridge and provided an excellent base to explore the city from. It was inexpensive (particularly for Venice) and the rooms were romantic and beautiful, decorated in traditional Venetian style.... more

Out of 9 or so places we stayed in Italy this would be my favourite. As others have said, it's hard to find, the address is an area rather than a street, and the numbers dont seem to run in any order. We started at the Rialto and found it after asking a few locals. The room we had was... more

Pros: Nice sized room even though the bathroom was small. I was given a small canal view room at the basement (108) that had the sign "Privato" on the door. Decoration was unique but nice. Around 5 minute walk from Rialto vaporetto stop, head north, cross one bridge into a piazza, keep heading north pass the Coin department store and... more

My wife and I stayed at Ca Amadi in October 2005. Excellent location and very helpful staff. Only 6 rooms in this neat hotel...so much history, was one of the first homes of Marco Polo. Make sure you request the room that has a view of the small canal. Enrico at the front desk recommended a fantastic seafood restaurant to... more

Venice is one of the most beautiful cities i've ever been. Different from everything else. I booked a Room with Canal View at Ca Amadi by internet site "Venice Hotels" without any problem, and the response was very quick. This is a small charming hotel, with a very good location (near Rialto boat stop), with nice staff, and surprisingly very... more
