We went to this boutique hotel - I think it only has 17 rooms - because it was a winner on TripAdvisor. We also happen to see it reviewed on the travel channel. This small, elegant boutique hotel was a delight for our entire visit. Ideally located directly on the Grand Canal, adjacent to a waterbus stop, the Palazzo Sant'Angelo cannot be beat for both convenience and luxury. Be sure to visit Bobby, the friendliest and best bartender in Venice! more

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in May. I didn't realize of what a great location this was until we got there! We took the water bus (least expensive way) to the hotel- got off the water bus stop, turned right and walked a few feet to the front door! Hotel is directly on the Grand Canal.... more

I confess I don't usually frequent luxury hotels, but since it was a special wekend, we splashed out.
