Awesome location, brilliant staff. The furniture is very "classic" and rooms have NOT been recently updated but the location and staff make up for the slightly tired decor. Well worth a visit but dont expect smart rooms, you can expect a great location and prices were very reasonable especially for summer. more

This was an "okay" hotel. Nothing great. Nothing bad. We were on the top floor and there isn't an elevator. Request a room on the lower floor if you don't mind climbing 5 stories. We stayed at the Casa Fontana for 2 nights this March. The hotel is perfectly placed for a short/first visit to Venice as it's only 5 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco, and the water bus stops for the airport.
