Traveling between Marco Polo airport and the site took approx one and half hours by bus and boat. It would have been quicker by taxi which I believe costs about 100 euros. Our first impression of the site, i.e. the reception desk was generally good. It was run efficiently and the staff were friendly. Would highly recommend bike hire as... more

Just arrived back from a week with family of 11 in total all ages from 14 to 72. We booked with Eurocamp and arranged our flight independantly . Travelling was good just 2 hours from LGW which is fine. We booked a couple of minibuses with Guilliano at radio taxi, 120 euros each bus each way, no problems at all.... more

This campsite is exceptionally clean and well organised - particularly given that it is so big. The new pool complex is outstanding, the direct access beach is long and sandy, entertainment is varied and the campsite shops and restaurants sell everything you could possibly need. This is my second visit to Marina di Venezia and this time I travelled with... more

We have just returned from a week at Marina di Venezia and had a great time. Mainly because our 2yr old and 5yr old thought that it was heaven on Earth. The facilities are fantastic and geared towards youngsters from 0-14. If they have a good time then there is a possibiility that you will have a good time. On... more

Just returned from a 10 day break at this camp site and really enjoyed it. We stayed with Canvas Holidays in a caravan which suited us perfectly albeit slightly cramped at times. The site itself is huge and I would definitely agree with others who say you need bikes to get about. Our first couple of days spent walking backwards... more

We came from Venice - took the no 51 vaporetto outside the train station down to San Zacaria and from there took the LN to Punto Sabbioni, All in all it took about an hour and a quarter. From there we asked for directions to the campsite in the tourist office at the pier. I knew it was nearby, but... more

Fantastic holiday. Big and spacious. We hired bikes for the whole 8 days and had a wonderful time. Even going to the onsite supermarket was a must on the bike. Whole camp was so clean. The blocks for the campers are 100% clean - really fantastic. Amazing beach. Sea lovely temperature and not too deep even 50mts out. Great overall... more

I have to agree with the many positive comments about this site. It is one of the largest campsites in Europe - but doesn't feel it. The blue flag sandy beach shelves gently into the sea. And even on the busiest days you'll find acres of empty space. We went with Venue holidays, and couldn't see why anyone would pay... more

We looked on Eurocamp's website for some ideas on campsites in Italy and they do the parc videos which give you a flavour of what to expect, then we typed Marina Di Venezia into google and they had their own site. We didn't want to stay in a mobile home unit if we didn't have to and booking direct we... more

We stayed a week in a Eurocamp caravan - all located quite a good walk from the centre of this very large campsite. One point of advice if you do go with Eurocamp: get a caravan with a deck. I spent a lot of time sweeping sand off the floors of ours. The beach here is lovely. Its also an... more
