This was a great location with lots of activity outside. Our room did not have any view however our children could access a roof balcony which allowed a gorgeous expansive look over the Canal. We had a wonderful meal outside the hotel and all attractions were only a few steps away. Our stay was made even better with the wonderful... more

The location cannot be beat. i had a side room--it was larger than i had expected--it was quiet, clean...no complaints. The staff were helpful and the breakfest buffet was quite good--again no complaints. I would stay here again...p.s. the hotel booked a water taxi for me (80 euro) and well worth the money-- very convenient and quite fun! more

After a half day visit in 1992 with Cosmos Tours, we never visited Venice till 2007, some 15 years later. Our first impression with Venice then was - Confusing, Costly and Choatic, the 3C's associated with Venice. However, as fate would have it, we revisited Venice again in 2007 April and December, and then in 2008 March and now September.... more

The Savoia & Jolanda has a great location overlooking the S. Marco basin and right opposite the Isola S Giorgio. It is a two minute walk from St. Mark's Square. The waterbus stop and water taxi stand are right out front. The hotel is decorated in the appropriate Venetian style. We had a room at the side of the hotel... more

Just returned from a 3 night stay in this hotel - we had a great time. The location is absolutely amazing - it has a wonderful view of the lagoon with gondolas, all kinds of boats and even cruise ships travelling up and down, day and night. We had a junior suite with view of the lagoon - could have... more

what a beautiful place looking out onto the St giorgio magiore church island. The rooms with views are quite expensive...but venice is a precious place with very little space. the restaurant is good (especially the free breakfast)...but explore the many small trattorias, restaurants, and pannini bars..for much better though. the best value compared to cipriani, hilton danelli etc...would highly recommend more

Venice was the first stop of our two week honeymoon and this hotel was the best. The staff was friendly and very helpful with both directions and food recommendations. The hotel is located directly across from the water bus that brings you from the airport so you only have to drag your luggage a few hundred feet. It is also... more

Great hotel if you have heavy luggage as the Blue Aeroporto bus drops you directly outside the hotel. Reception staff were excellet and very helpful guarding our suit cases and arranging a free trip to Murano whilst our room was made ready (probably got a kick back on anything bought). Other information about transport was spot on. The meals were... more
