Hotel Rialto was very good value for money. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was warm and cleaned daily. We were on the fourth floor with a view of shops and stalls. The location of the hotel right next to the Rialto bridge was the best place to be,easy for the local water buses,12 mins walk to St.Marks square and shops... more

We stayed here for 11 days just before Christmas 2008. We stayed in room 402, the best view in Venice. We had a wonderfull vantage point to watch all of Venice's daily life. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and fun to talk with. We can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return. more

It just so happened that my check-in day to the Hotel Rialto occurred the day after Venice had its worst flooding in 26 years. I was seeing pictures of the Rialto Bridge area on CNN being flooded when I was in Roma. First of all, I have to say that in terms of location, this hotel rocks. Loved being in... more

We booked 2 doubles with views and 1 junior suite with a view. yes the views are of the canal and the bridge but underneath the windows are the taxi ranks which can be noisy all night. The rooms are ok, the breakfast was less than average and the bar attached to the hotel was VERY VERY expensive. We found... more

Fab location - right on the Grand Canal - but be warned its a long way from the train station so if you're stingy and don't fancy forking out for a taxi then check your route through town first! It has a glossy entrance foyer, and the staff are charming. We stayed in one of the suites which are accessed... more

We stayed at the Rialto for a extended weekend break five nights in all. The location is amazing right by the bridge and in the heart of bustling Venice on the Grand Canal. Although we arrived late at night we got a fast bus from the airport then switched to a water bus at the bus station which stopped right... more

6 of us just spent 2 nights at this hotel which I would class as more a three star than four. Great location, but beware the noise of boats gurgling and chugging by from early morning thru late evening with the vaporetto stop right outside. I would take earplugs as revellers on the Rialto bridge right by the hotel kept... more

Just returned from a three night stay at the Rialto. As a single traveller I was given the tiniest room I have ever slept in, scruffy and tired and with absolutely no view - the bathroom was even worse, a minute shower, cracked tiles, grubby and generally in need of a really good refurbishment.. The staff were indifferent/rude, preferring to... more

We stayed at the Rialto for two nights and enjoyed the room with a view on the canal. When we checked out, we asked if we could leave our luggage at the hotel to go for a stroll and afterwards collect it again. At our return we found the luggage in a kind of wardrobe, behind the reception and discovered... more

Not only was it value for money, but we had the most splendiferous view onto the Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal from our room . The breakfast was excellent, and they also assisted us with arranging for a visit out to Murano, and other travel that we did. I left my passport behind at the Hotel, and they averted... more
