Main problem was the lack of / ineffective sound proofing in the room which backed onto a busy side street, and which also suffered from noise from the nearby stairwell and a large metal door opening and shutting. It's a great hotel, pretty close to Piazza Castelo (10 minutes walk) and train station (3 minutes walk), with all the shops also in the surroundings. Nice central location, walking distance to train station, shopping area and tourist sites. Was part of a Trafalgar tour that mostly had hotels outside the city center. This was a nice treat.
