After going through all the options for my accommodations in Rome i finally settled with portrait suites. Here are the reasons why to stay in portrait suites. 1. Location - Since we were only spending a few nights in Rome it was the location of the hotel that sealed the deal. Its right smack on Via Condoti and walking distance... more

my boyfriend stumbled upon the portrait suites while we were shopping on via condotti and we went in to check it out and was immediately blown away. (we were staying at la posta vecchia in lazio which is another great hotel but that's another story) anyway, we decided to move there and had a truly great experience. the staff are... more

If you are looking for a great contemporary hotel in Rome, with personalized service, then look no further! Travelled to Rome in September for a long weekend. As always, tried to find an excellent hotel that is contemporary, central location and overall just great, without any flashy paintings, wanna be gold detailing or chandelliers. Being a picky traveller that has... more

We recently returned from 3 nights at the Portrait Suites. It was the most expensive hotel we've ever stayed at but well worth the cost. We arrived in the morning and were delighted to learn that our room was not only ready but that we were upgraded to a suite. The room was fantastic - spacious and well appointed. Although... more

If you like hotels that have the feel of a private residence, this is the place for you in Rome. The Portrait Suites consist of 15 rooms (three per floor). Their entrance that does not draw attention, and there is no reception desk. After having been greeted at the door, you will be welcomed in a private lounge on the... more

Can't say enough good things about this hotel!!! We loved the location, it's literally a few steps from the Spanish Steps. The rooms are spotless, beds are extremely comfortable and completely soundproofed. The staff is equal to that in a five star hotel. We're stopping in Rome for a few nights at the end of a trip we're taking this... more

Portrait Suites is really a great property. The service is top notch - all of the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, and they really make you feel at home. The room (number 53) was thoughtfully laid out and nicely decorated, with lots of storage space and a little kitchenette and table, large bathroom with a deep tub and really... more

My husband and I had the real pleasure of staying at the Portrait Suites for five days this past month and I really cannot say enough about the property. From the minute you check in the staff makes you feel like you are the only guests. The rooms are perfectly appointed - from the mohair sofa to the Ferragamo fabric... more

I recommend room 15 that is a beautifully decorated junior suite with kitchen facility and balcony overlooking the Via Condotti (only room with a balcony, I was told). It was quiet and well appointed. The rooftop area is also very nice; service was excellent and very personal. Breakfast was perfectly fine. The location can't be beat in terms of being... more

We have just come back from Rome and the Portrait Suites. The best thing about it, is the location off the Via Condotti and the staff are very helpful. We had paid for a deluxe studio and it was very expensive and I had asked for a view in my booking as I knew one of their 3 rooms at... more
