The Hotel Paba is more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Very small, clean and homey. The room was a bit too small especially for tourists like us who had way too many suitcases, but the room was comfortable. The beds were a bit hard, but frankly we had such busy days that we slept pretty well every... more

My family and I stayed here for 6 nights. We chose the hotel based on the Tripadvisor reviews and its location. We were extremely pleased with our choice. It is in a great location; within easy walking distance of most of the main tourist sites and it has a bus stop right outside the front door. You can also walk... more

We spent three nights at Hotel Paba in mid-November. We had Room 2, the Flower Room, which is on the back side and was very quiet. The room and bathroom was quite spacious for a 2-star European hotel, and the beds were roomy but as noted before, they are EXTREMELY hard. I actually felt bruised when I woke up the... more

We first read about the Hotel Paba in Rick Steve's Guide to Italy and contacted them for our last minute trip. The rates were really reasonable and the reviews on TripAdvisor seemed pretty good. We only spent one night at the hotel because of our flight time, but we were very pleased. Some people complained about finding the hotel -... more

This hotel is in a perfect location! We were able to walk to the hotel from Rome Termini and on a day with good weather, a manageable walk from the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Colusseum, etc. The hotel is small so breakfast is served in the rooms, but the breakfast was great! We had to check out early before the front... more

We were very pleased with our stay at the Hotel Paba. I choose the Paba based on reviews and comments I had read on Trip Advisor. The staff, Pina and Fabiola were outstanding. They were very solicitous of our needs and comfort. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and the bed was excellent. The breakfast, served at our convenience... more

I am a travel agent so I should know. I booked this hotel many, many years ago by looking on the internet before there was anything like TripAdvisor. It was my first trip to Italy and the first place we were at out of a 3 week stay. Senora Alberta suggested one of the best restaurants we ate at in... more

A great little hotel, very close to the Coloseum, Forum etc. Many cafe's,restaurants nearby. Metro station 200 yards away. Hotel is fairly basic but very clean and cosy, our bed was huge and very comfy, we were on the front of the hotel but were not disturbed at all and slept very well. Bathroom was more than adequate, shower was... more

It was pretty difficult for us to find the hotel at first. And it seemed that a lot of people we asked had not heard of this place. However, if you just get onto the right street and follow the numbers (266) then it shouldn't be too difficult. There is a small signboard that tells you it's on the 2nd... more

I wanted to take a minute to offer praise about this hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed here during one of THE hottest times of the year in Italy. We flew in from San Francisco and we were hot, tired, and so excited! We were looking forward to our first trip to Italy and just wanted to get where we... more
