Stayed for two nights at this hotel in September. To be honest, if we had booked anymore than 2 nights we would have checked out. The room was so tiny you couldn't get a suitcase through the door past the furniture so there were large chunks of plaster missing off the wall. The air conditioning didn't work sufficiently and the... more

THE ROOM: First of all, the first room was very very tiny. The bathroom awful and poorly maintained and not up dated . After complain, we got a better room. Ispite of this, the bathroom was terrible. It stinks and was very very tiny, hindering the bath. I almost don’t fit in (I’m 1,70 mts). LOCATION: The vast distance of... more

This is a great value hotel - in an excellent location. I travelled for a 4 day break - and was a bit concerned about having to travel on the metro - as have done it before and it can get very crowded. But not a problem - and the bonus of the hotel being very close to both the... more

Lovley hotel in a peaceful settling after all the noise of the city centre. Ok / Good restaurant round the corner, the pizzas and homemade burgers are amazing. Lovely restaurnat as come out of one of the tube exits. 4 min walk to tube stop Cornelia, which is a 10 min ride to Termini, very convienient. Staff brilliant, very helpful,... more

My wife and I had been looking forward for many years to seeing Rome. We had heard so much about the various sites. The Colluseum, the Vatican Museum and the Trevi Fountain. When my wife informed me she had booked a surprise break for us I was over the moon and counldn't wait to see the sights. Our first experience... more

If you don't want to be disappointed don't stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is situated on the outskirts of Rome although near a metro station. It is in need of refurbishment and current colour schemes are dark and depressing. Our room was navy blue and the shower in the morning was barely a trickle and not hot. The buffet breakfast served... more

Just returned from a week. Great location. Hotel staff is the best. Always there to help. Leave your room key at the desk when you leave, it is made of brass and very heavy. The room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels and linens. Continental "European" Breakfast included. If you go on a tour before breakfast is ready they will give... more

We stayed for 2 long nights in early Sept. After taking a quick dislike to the unhelpful staff, whom were more happy to share attitude than assistance, we were horrified to spend the first night in a bed-bug infested room - (which crept into our luggage and now live in our house!) . The head manager changed our room only... more

Ignoring people's advice about going to Rome in August, I booked the hotel and flight for 5 nights. Hotel was comfortable, staff really helpful- providing maps, info on tours etc, breakfast was your typical European city break breakfast (bit repetitive but still fine). Only thing was the size of the room- was a bit small. I'm sure if I asked... more
