My wife and I stayed for 2 nights adn were pleasantly surprised. Admitted the hotel is not exactly smack in the center of things. It's a 12 minute walk to the Spanish stairs - about half to Piazza Barberini. The good thing is that it is only a 5 minute walk from Termini (but not in the seedy district), which... more

After seeing previous reviews I was very concerned about staying at this hotel. However I found this hotel secure, clean and well situated for a good price. The Hotel is entered by a intercom system which when you arrive for the first time is not the easiest to find, you then enter via a locked door which to be honest... more

I booked this hotel through Last minute.com & couldve kicked myself after id paid & found out it was cheaper to book direct (Supposed to have been a special rate!) When we arrived at the Hotel Invictus it was very poorly marked & we almost walked past it. You access the hotel by pressing a buzzer & they tell you... more

You have to carry your luggage up to the 1st floor (which is our '2nd' floor in the U.S.) then from there you can hop in a tiny freight style elevator which will take you up to the "hotel" floor(s). The entire building is not just for hotel Invictus. They are simply on one or two floors in this building.... more

The initial problem was that I booked 3 nights at the Hotel RE not the Invictus. There was no Hotel RE at the correct address, this did cause a bit of a concern when we arrived, I thought we had been ripped off! After asking a local shopkeeper, we were pointed to a door to an apartment block, and rang... more

Recently refurbished, clean with all basic requirements. Evening receptionist keen to help with directing us to sights and warning us about potential dangers in Rome. Good location, only a 15 minute walk to Fontani di trevi, 20 mins to Piazza di Spagna. Breakfast room is very small and was full so rather than waiting we went down to a bar... more

The entry area was a little different, having to ring the bell everytime we wanted to get into the hotel, it was a little akward after a night out... Besides this small issue, it was a great little hotel within easy walking distance to all areas a normal visitor would want to see. A taxi ride to most areas was... more

I went to stay at this little hotel after reading the reviews about this hotel. The entrance for the hotel was really spooky and dirty!. Once you go to the second floor, you are greeted by the receptionist who doesn't speak english but he was helpful. The room i was in was of a good size( big enough for me... more

I read a terrible review about the Hotel Invictus before I stayed there and I was a but intrepid about staying there but I have to say that it was a pretty good hotel. Nearly all of the hotels in Rome have a buzzer entrance on the door and the hotel building do not look very grand on the outside... more
