we booked a double room, but when we arrived the gave us a single room, saying they would change it the next day. The next day when we asked for another room, they said it wasn't possible because nobody had written down we should change rooms. So we had to sleep 2 out of 3 nights in a single room.... more

We walked straight past our hotel when trying to find it. Dont stay on this side of the Termini railway, its considered the 'dodgy' side. Hotel Madison was okay. We only stayed one night. It doesn't look quite like the pictures on the website. The decor is old and dingy. The elevators were very small. The proximity of this hotel to the train station and the underground is great. However, it's kind of in a seedy area. I would consider this hotel a 2 star for several reasons. The biggest problem I had with this hotel is the the water from the bathroom sink was not potable.
