This hotel is a gem of a find value wise. It is within walking distance to most major tourist attractions. The hotel is basic but clean however the historical aspect to this hotel more than compensates. The staff were helpful and courteous. There any plenty of good value cafes and bars nearby. We used the two day tour bus which... more

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location was great (5 minutes from the Termini station), the room was clean, spacious, soundproofed and air conditioned. We also had a proper bathroom as opposed to just a showeroom. The staff were also helpful and friendly. We would certainly recommed this hotel. more

great small hotel near the train station. Was easily able to walk to hotel...near metro stops. We were able to walk to colleseum (15 minutes) vatican (40 minutes). Nice, clean rooms...Quiet (on the side of the hotel) Hallway was a bit noisy when people walked down the wood floors. Free computer to use, so that was great to check email.... more

Great small hotel in a good location. Close to the railway station, metro and bus. There are many good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was very good and you could get both coffee or made to order espresso. They are short on front office staff, but the person there was always able to answer our questions and help us with where to... more

We stayed here for 3 nights (August 2 to 5, 2007). We found it was clean and easy to walk everywhere and see the sights. The hotel was easy to get to from Tuscany. Straight in off the A1. We dropped our car off at the Avis dealer a block away and decided to take the express train back to... more

4 Star its certainly not. Room is okay. Modernish and clean. Bathroom only small with shower cubicle no bath. Mould a problem I would say and shower plug blocked. Could have put up with that if the staff had been nicer, but they werent, more of service with a snarl except for one chap on night duty. For GBP132 per... more

We've just returned from a four night stay, and were impressed. We had a lovely room at the front of the hotel, so good views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We thought the hotel was in a good location, and walked with ease to most places of interest. Breakfast adequate for continental. We would have no hesitation in recommending... more

We had 3 nights at this hotel in Feb and came away feeling that it was ok, but would not stay there again. The location is great and it looks good from the outside with all public areas looking very good. Our room was clean and tidy with a king size bed and serviced daily with clean towels. The bathroom... more

Anyone who has read my other reviews will know that I like hotels that feel like a better version of home. This one fits the bill. The whole place is spotless and gleaming. Some rooms are better than others, with views of Santa Maria Maggiore. Mine looked onto a side street, which was still quaint and got plenty of light.... more
