We booked the Hotel Corot as it was so near to the train station - less than a two minute walk, which was very convenient. It is about 20 minutes to walk to the main attractions from the hotel, which was fine. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was good. The room we had was a bit outdated... more

We had reservations for three rooms at the Hotel Corot in July 2008. Location is one block from the train station which is very convenient. If I were staying more than one night I would want to be in a much nicer area but it was fine for one night stay. When we got there our rooms were not available... more

We recently stayed two nights at the Hotel Corot. The reason we selected this hotel was because of its close proximity to the train termini in Rome. When you depart from your train you make a right out of the station, cross the street and walk less than half a block to your hotel's front door. We arrived at 8... more

Stayed at Hotel Corot, Rome for three nights as a single traveller. Actually had a single room which was very spacious, clean and the bathroom was modern and clean. Safe deposit box in every room. Very helpful staff with more than adequate English. Enormous choice for breakfast. Hotel is no more than 100 yards from the Termini and the drop-off... more

The hotel is near to Termini station with good connections for public transportations (subway, bus) in order to cover all the major atractions. The small entrance is for Corot hotel and his sister hotel, the elevator is very small (only 2 people), nice modern breakfast room (breakfast buffet with ham, chees, eggs and cereals, coffe-you can ask for a regular... more

The breakfast at the hotel was very nice and plentyful the red orange juice was gorgeous and the capacinno was too. The tea unfortunately wasnt... more

My partner and I stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Although as said in other reviews the surroundings are a little rough we decided to take a chance. I am glad we did as the hotel was in a very convenient location, literally 1 minute walk to the Termini (Main station) with connections to all parts of rome and a... more

Spent 3 nights in early 2007. Room was cozy, but nice. Very clean with all the essentials. We had read complaints about the street noise, but we did not experience this and found that the windows did an excellent job of blocking noise. The rooms had been updated with new lighting and the bathroom appliances looked new and modern. The... more

Visited Hotel Corot October 2007 for 3 nights. Excellent situation for trains/buses and visiting the sites. Breakfasts good. Bedroom and bathroom good, especially useful was a rack for placing toilet bags underneath the basin. Entrance carpet shabby. Lift looked old although we did not use it. Courteous staff. Several restaurants close by. A good and reasonably priced one was Trattoria... more

My boyfriend and I just came back from our stay at the Hotel Corot last week. The hotel is very convenient for those who will be traveling to other cities and will be using the Termini station as it is right outside of the Termini train station. This is definitely a no frills hotel. The hotel itself is a bit... more
