The room was OK - more like 2* though. We stayed here as there was somewhere to put our car. You'd better be early for breakfast (boiled eggs, ham, cheese, awful rolls) because when things on the buffet run out they are not replenished. There was absolutely no way of getting a cup of tea or anything in the hotel... more

On arrival into hotel at 22.30, we were told that no paperwork existed for our stay. After quite a protracted argument with the extremely rude male receptionist, we felt because of the lateness of the hour, we had no choice but to pay for a room for one night. We weren't sure of the area or where to look for... more

Just wanted to add some comments. Others commented on the location because the metro was closed, we had no problems with the Manzoni station, nice short walk from hotel, but definately open. The main problem with the location is that the hotel is towards the outskirts and whilst not in a "rough" area, its not a pleasant walk back from... more

Unfortunaly I could not stay in this hotel due to many reasons. After being in Rome when it was 38 (95 degrees) outside and inside my small room it was a few degrees less, I anticipated the air conditioner to function however it was broken for 5 days. So I had to sweet outside and inside the room. I was... more

Having booked this hotel in September 2006 we were concerned when we arrived to ber told that there was no paperwork valid for our stay. We were then offered a room which in the words of the gentleman on reception, was not the biggest or nicest room, but that it was all he could offer. Well it certainly wasn't big,... more

We stayed at the Hotel Bled in mid-march for 2 nights, beeing sent there by our actually but overbooked hotel "Porta Maggiore". The hotel is said to be a 3-star-one but I think 2 stars would be more correct. The rooms we had were very small, but clean, with relativly new bathroom furnitures and a really good matraze in the... more

Hotel Bled has a nice atmosphere yet is let down by its location. Having said that it is only a 5 min walk to the nearest Metro station (although this was closed for maintenance while we were there) but the streets aren't the nicest. Our room was a reasonable size and kept well cleaned. The road at the front is... more
