We stayed at the Visconti Palace in Rome over the New Year. The Hotel said they had internet through the TV but it cost $10 a day. The internet access was clunky and I could not read or send emails using the TV setup. My girlfriend wanted me to point out that there was no fan in the bathroom, I... more

We really enjoyed our three nights at the Visconti Palace. Our 5th floor room was ultra clean and comfortable, and more spacious than we anticipated. The bathroom was also clean, spacious and had nice amenities. One slight complaint about breakfast, which is served in elegant fashion in a large dining room, is that they might include an egg option as added... more

We stayed at the visconti palace for 6 nights in September , took the missus there for her 40th birthday....Hotel was excellent overall , the only thing was it took 2 days to get extra pillows??? As you would expect with Rome it was very expensive , the hotel , restaurants etc. We loved it completely but watch out for... more

Traveling on a guided tour and stayed two nights at the Visconti. Rooms were nice size, clean, and comfortable beds. The breakfast was more than expected - fruit, juice, yogurts, variety of meats (salami, etc), pastries, coffee, tea. Staff was very cordial. Noise from the street during the day, but at night very quiet. Bank next door for those who... more

We just returned from a two night post cruise stay at this wonderful hotel and I can not say enough positive things about it! The location is great, in walking distance to just about everything, the rooms immaculate and very large by European Standards. We had room 304 which is a junior suite and we were thrilled with how large... more

We booked a deluxe double for a 2 night stay. the rate was 190 euro/ night plus 30/night for valet parking. Our overall experience was positive. the room was a bit cramped, but clean and well equipped with modern amenities including the flat screen TV. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive, and the staff were reasonably friendly. The location is... more

We had two nights here before a Carnival curise. Rooms were nice and clean and good size and the staff was frinedly and helpful. No restaurant in the hotel just bar food, and a enjoyable continental breakfast all one needs to start they day. Not a bad walk to St. Peter's. You do need to ask for wash cloths in... more

I loved the Visconti Palace hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable room and a rooftop terrace. The staff were really helpful - booking taxis and supplying me with maps and tips before I headed out. The room, although looking onto a busy road, was quiet. Only Sky News in English. Internet is payable. Breakfast was adequate...not great, but a good enough buffet... more

We spent 2 nights here on a precruise package. Front desk staff was always pleasant and helpful, the hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was actually pretty extensive- cereals, fruits, meats and cheeses, and pastries. It is in a reasonably convenient location, especially if you are OK with using bus/metro to get to some sites which are further away,... more

I organized a group tour to Rome, Florence and Venice. The travel agent recommended the Visconti Palace and we were not disappointed. Contrary to some reviews, the hotel staff was very accommodating and polite as well as helpful. The rooms were modern and clean and the breakfasts were certainly adequate enough to please anyone. The hotel is in a good... more
