If you are looking for a location near to The Vatican then this is the place. On leaving your hotel front door you turn left and the Vatican is on your doorstep and I never tired of that view. I stayed at the columbus with my two teenage daughters and I was slightly concerned that we might be too far away from all the major sites. This was not a problem atall. I was robbed inside this hotel by the minibar man. Sounds crazy I guess, but he took all of my euros, pounds and checks. I complained to the hotel manager who didn't even seem to care and implied I was making the story up.
