We stayed here for the last 5 days of a several-week tour of Italy/Sicily, in late October, 2008, & certainly the BEST was saved for LAST! 'Were immediately impressed with the cleanliness of this 4-star rated gem, friendliness of staff, beautiful double room (fabulous balcony for afternoon relaxation,) & delicious complimentary breakfasts. Staff even opened dining room early just for... more

We stayed in this hotel November for the weekend. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff friendly. The hotel is situated about 40 minutes casual walking from the Spanish Steps and the walk is through the relaxing Villa Borghese Park, passing the Biopark Zoo. Once you get to the Spanish steps most attractions are quite close by. We personally... more

6 in my family stayed here with 3 rooms in Oct. 2008 with Globus! I loved the simple, elegant, modern decor, one of the best values i've experienced in traveling in Europe. It was extremely clean and the staff most courteous and knowledgeable. The rooms were larger than expected with a balcony off every room. The neighborhood was a wonderful... more

Our family stayed at the Claridge in early October for 3days and discovered what a gem this place was. I had booked our room through the hotel website and not knowing what to expect other than a small room. However, our room was modern, spacious and clean as it consisted of a sitting area + a separate bedroom ( w/... more

The best thing about this hotel is its location. We enjoyed a leisurely walk on a beautiful Sunday afternoon past the US Ambassador's residence and other mansions through Borghese Park, the Museo of Modern Art, the Tuscan Museum, and the Piazza Popolo, my favorite Piazza so far. We could have easily walked to Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps had we... more

just spent four nights at the Claridge hotel as part of a Monograms tour. Overall the hotel was very nice - rooms were reasonable sized and clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. Only issue is that the hotel is really a 45-60 minute walk from any of the downtown sites (further to the Colosseum area)... more

I have just arrived back after staying two days at the Claridge in Rome. The staff was extremely helpful in making arrangements for tours and a taxi to take me to the airport on the day I left. I did an On & Off Bus one afternoon in Rome and took a city bus #52 to the central city to... more

My husband, 13-year-old daughter, and I just returned from a 6-night stay at the Claridge. We used this hotel as part of a Globus tour, and we are very happy that we did! The hotel had the room ready as soon as the Globus shuttle dropped us off (late morning). Our triple room consisted of a king sized bed for... more

I stayed at this hotel in November for three nights prior to doing a cruise. What a wonderful hotel. So clean and fresh looking. My room really looked like I was the very first person to have ever stayed there. I booked it through Expedia for 99 euros per night including breakfast and taxes. The hotel has obviously been recently... more

We booked this for four nights in October 07. Location: Walking times - Termini station 30 minutes, Colosseum 45, Spanish Steps 35. Bus/Tram to Termini, Colosseum (No. 3) or Vatican (No .19). Taxi from Termini should be around 15 euros. Area - dull, leafy, but above all safe (think Paris 16e, London St John's Wood, Manhattan E 31 - 40... more
