Have just got back from staying at this hotel and from what I can gather from previous reviews, their comments have been taken on board. We experienced no problems whatsoever and the pics of the rooms on this page are now a bit dated as it seems that the rooms have all now been done up (our bathroom still smelt... more

Blooms is ideally suited for the Temple Bar region of Dublin, right on the doorstep of the main pub area it's within a short walk of many decent bars. The Hotel is very clean and has it's own bar called the VAT House which is great and open till late as well as Club M which offers residents free entry... more

The hotel could not be more centrally located; a short walk from most of the central attractions. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. On my last day it was possible to use the hotel's left luggage facility which was handy. Note that the hotel is almost in the Temple Bar area and light sleepers may have a problem with... more

This is my third visit to Blooms and each time I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I really cannot complain about anything and the service you receive is the best I have had. It is excellently located in Temple bar and very close to Grafton street for all the shopping you desire. This also means that you can pop back whenever... more

We have been to Dublin on several occasions for long weekends, but have never stayed in a hotel in the heart of the Temple Bar area. This hotel did not meet many of our expectations in a number of areas, some of which have already been noted on previous reviews. Firstly, the hotel is in a great location if you... more

I have stayed in Blooms many times in the past number of years. I'm sorry to say that, although it remains a reasonably cheap alternative in Dublin city centre, its standards have been steadily declining for some time. The rooms are in bad need of upgrade, although clean enough. The hotel seems to cater mostly for stag/hen nights parties (very... more

I booked this hotel online because of the convenient location, thinking that being a 3 star it should meet the standards I was looking for. I was wrong. I arrived around 11am Monday and the receptionist told me that the room wasn’t ready yet. She checked me in, took my CC details and told me they would keep my baggage... more
