We (two adults & two children aged 7 & 3) stayed here on a weekend trip to Dublin taking in our niece's Christening and the Ireland v All Blacks rugby. The hotel is as beautiful as the photos on tripadvisor would suggest -- it really is a gorgeous venue. Our room was on the wrong side of the corridor to... more

Myself, my wife and our 2 year old daughter stayed here for one night while visiting Dublin. it was a bit expensive but we were very pleased with the rate for one night. The hotel is located in a lovely garden. Our room was extremely spacious, comfortable, clean with wonderful views over the hotel's back garden. The bed was king... more

Quality hotel situated on the N11 south of the city on large grounds in the middle of the suburbs. Good access to buses into town. Taxi from airport cost 70 euros, caught the "aircoach" instead for 7 euros. Excellent high speed internet access is free to use. Staff tried hard to be helpful and it was a pleasant enough stay. more

The room was booked for two people - it had no soap, shampoo etc. and towels for one person and they were DIRTY! . It took 2 hours and four 'phone calls to get the clean towels delivered to the room. We had room service, the tray was placed on the table under the ceiling light. as we were about... more

We stayed there recently and had a great experience overall. The setting is beautiful, doesn't feel like a chain hotel. The staff were generally quite helpful though I would agree with other reviewers that service was not up to the standard of a five-star hotel. Rooms were cleaned twice-a-day but toiletries were not replenished regularly. I only had breakfast in... more

The hotel was beautiful...the gardens amazing. One major downside to this hotel is the terrible food. The Italian restaurant had the worst food I ever tasted and the room service was more like a 2 maybe 3 star hotel. They charged 6 Euro !!!! service charge for each room service order we made. I have to say the room was... more

I'm beginning to think the radison sas chain are very poorly run hotels. Like its sister hotel in Galway this hotel makes you sign a pre authorison for more than the room rate with the assumption that you are dishonest enough to run off without paying for your drinks. The breakfast is just awful - bland bland bland. They put... more

Aaaarrrrrghhh!!! I'm so frustrated that this hotel wasn't as brilliant as it should have been.. The asthetics of the place are faultless - the garden, the bar, the room, the restaurant (unbelievable! In a good way) and everywhere else really looks the part... But how annoying that the service didn't live up to that standard! Don't get me wrong, the... more

To start with, when I arrived, the girl at reception didn't know that rate that I had booked under, tried to make me pay more, eventually gave up but looked disgruntled, and then put the hard sell on me about booking breakfast/ dinner/ putting down a deposit to use the minibar/ phone/ order room service, and gave me a bit... more
