My Mum, brother and I had such a lovely time at the albany hotel. It has a warm friendly environment, clean warm rooms and spacious bathrooms. The staff were really helpful and genuine and couldn't do more to help you. We stayed the weekend of the Dublin Marathon, in which we were taking part in the family run, and The... more

I went to Dublin on a hen weekend. There was 22 of us, some stayed at this hotel and the rest stayed in Harrington Hall. From the airport we got a bus which was 1euro90 each. The check in was quick and easy and got to our rooms straight away. The shops are about 5-10min walk also you will find... more

Wonderful location just 100 metres from St Stephans Green. Lots of really good bars, bistros, restaurants and convenience stores in the vicinity (If on a budget, try the bistro called Cafe Bliss at the end of the lane opposite - really cheap yet plenty of well cooked food on the plate.) Grafton Street less than five minutes walk, ten minutes... more

Stayed at the Albany House for one night (Saturday) in April. The hotel was in a brilliant location for what we wanted; just far enough from the crowds (we thought) but close enough to walk to Temple Bar etc if we wanted to. The Hotel itself still had a lovely "old world" charm to it. The rooms; although quite dated,... more

Property is located in the middle of a long row of 5 story brick buildings on both sides of the street. Thus every noise on the street is ampliphied and is clearly heard in the room. We stayed on the 4th floor facing the street. Noise from the tram was heard as if you were standing next to it. There... more

A decently priced hotel with a very good location, central, still quiet on a nice street. Just stayed for one night, but enjoyed the big room, the building and the central but yet reasonably quiet location. Nice and clean. Excellent, very fresh breakfast included. It is an old building which could mean noise from stairs & plumbing, also trams outside.... more

I too had read the reviews about the sour receptionist, so I was not overly surprised when I found them to be only too true. Having said that, the location was sensational, the price was right, room was clean, however the shower could have used an overhaul or some Domestos at least. Lugging a big suitcase up 5 flights of... more

We wanted to be in walking distance of the dining, pubs, and sightseeing of Dublin but not so close the bars would keep us up at night. Albany House was not only a fine place to stay, but it was a perfect location. They were specially nice to let one couple have the room early, much appreciated after flying all... more

I stayed here for a weekend break at the begining of Feb... this was a birthday present for my partner and as soon as we arrive at the airport we took the bus into town as it would be cheaper.... this was not a long journey and got dropped off at the town centre.... Albany house hotel is just outside... more
