First time to Vancouver. Obtained our room at a rate of $100 through priceline. The reviews on Tripadvisor were mixed but we were very pleasantly surprised. Was just staying for one Fri. night and had a great experience. Arrived before check-in but they let us check our bags in so we would not have to leave them in our car.... more

Our Rooms were not ready for us at check in time--staff problems. Security was obviously a problem for this hotel as we had to swipe cards for everything in the hotel. two seprate swipes to park your car. You had to swipe your card to use the lift and for each floor wanted.Swipe your card for breakfast. Swipe your card... more

Myself, husband, aunt, aunt's friends and her sister traveled to Vancouver early for an Alaska cruise. I originally reserved two rooms on priceline and got the Residence Inn Downtown for $135 per night/ per room. I thought this was a bargin based on the location and also that the rooms are all suites! We arrived late on Thursday, August 28th... more

Bad experience at this hotel. The parking garage is sketchy and not well patrolled. Don't bring your car if you plan to stay here. There are long-term residents that stay here and stay up at all hours of the night partying and cooking horrible-smelling food that creep into the adjacent rooms (e.g. curry smelling food). Despite my horrible one night... more

This is a well maintained downtown property close to Yaletown. So, restaurant and nightlife options are just blocks away. The hotel protects the safety of their guest by requiring you to swipe your room key to gain access to the room levels on the elevator. BC Place is a reasonable walk from the hotel. (Which we did for a BC... more

This hotel was very nice. We stayed there one night, prior to boarding a cruise ship for a 7 night Northbound Cruise to Alaska. We checked in just before midnight, hence there weren't any lines. We had two adjoining rooms which both had a kitchen for in room dining. The rooms were well appointed with a sofa and two beds.... more

Good position, half hour walk from cruise terminal.Very well appointed rooms with fridge, dishwasher, toaster, oven and general kitchen utensils.Large room with 3 seater settee, very comfortable queen beds. Some reception staff rather surly and off hand.Hotel used extensively by the big tour companies. There is extensive very loud construction work on two sides of the hotel from 0730 to about 1730 on weekdays and by the... more

The rooms were large and had a great little kitchenette. The beds were very comfy with lots of pillows both feather and sponge. There was a delightful cafe for dinner and lunches and the inclusive breakfast was a large buffet with eggs, pancakes or french toast, hasbrowns and every imaginable continental-style choice you could possibly desire. Help yourself to as... more

Booked through Kayak search and Skoosh had the lowest rate of $94 plus tax. This was a terrific value as I checked with Marriott and their lowest rate was $209 plus tax. The hotel is situated a half block off Davie street, which is a major thouroughfare in the heart of the gay district. Walking the streets at night wasn't... more
