I do not know what the other reviewer expected here. We looked around the neighborhood and the houses were nice. I had a good time at the casino and the slots seemed to give me more play than Mohegan. He did not mentioned the horseracing room which was recently expanded. The smoking area was segragated with no smoking at all... more

Beware of this place. It is an older casino/Jai Lai (they did away with the Jai Lai) establishment that sits on the outskirts of beautiful Newport in a tough area outside the Naval Base. The place is a monstrosity sitting on a hill and fills up with really scary locals coming out of the woodwork hoping to cash in here.... more
