Follow a walking tour from a travel guide so you don't miss anything. Waiting for the interurban, troll, directional marker, lenin statue, rocket. There is art everywhere, restaurants, and stores. more

We enjoyed the flea market but beware the walk up to the troll! It is steep and a long way. The whole area was fun but a lot of climbing steps if you have respiratory problems. Watch for the drawbridge! more

You can definitely do worse spending a half day elsewhere. There are alot of statues, and quirks of the city to see. If I had more than one child I would stay away. And bring your walking shoes, it's a steep hill to the troll more

i loved fremont! i mean where else can you find a giant cement troll eating a volkswagon under a bridge! or a huge copper statue of lenin usully dressed with hawian lays or rubber ducks! all in all if your gonna be in town be sure to stop by fremont! more
