This facility is used for the San Diego Padres, the local professional baseball team. Unless you're there to see a baseball game, there isn't much to see or do. If you're there for a game, then expect to pay a lot for food, drinks, and your seats. Be careful about selecting your seats in the quirky, but new stadium. Some... more

I have been to many MLB ballparks and Petco Park is a unique experience. It is new and shiny and more expensive than most. I went to four games in a week's time. The first was with my sister's family and we made sure we packed food and drink bring with us. Vendor prices are among the highest I've experienced.... more

I was in LA for a wedding and since I hate LA, I decided to drive down to SD as soon as I landed at LAX. It took me about 3 hours to drive down and that includes stopping for lunch in Oceanside. I ended up relying on the Padres website to find parking and it ended up costing me... more

Anyone who ever attended a Padres game at Qualcomm stadium and then one at Petco Park knows there is no comparison. Qualcomm had a ton of parking and that is the only thing it has on the new park. Take the trolley and don't worry about parking. Every seat has a good view, they are all close enough to see... more

Being fans of a visiting team, you always are a bit leery of your potential experience at the ballpark. I can't say enough about the great time we had at Petco Park. This was our second visit to the new Padres stadium, and this visit was even better than the first. The employees seem to go out of their way... more

We visited PETCO Park for a night game against Washington on 30 April. The park itself has a great location, right in the heart of downtown San Diego. Although it is a very new park, it does not have the look and feel of some of the other concrete parks, it seems to successfully be modern but retain an old... more

This is one of the best of the new parks, close behind PNC Park in Pittsburgh and possibly San Fran's park (whatever they are calling it this week). The prices arent too ridiculous by major league standards. I bought cheap seats and then moved to the upper deck behind the plate where you get a great view. Lot of construction... more

Anyone considering attending a ballgame at Petco Park will have no regrets, in my opinion. Visually, there does not seem to be a bad seat in the house. From the beautiful ballfield itself to the sweeping skyline with picturesque planes coming in for a landing, there is eye candy in every direction Amentity-wise, the ballparks old school quirks and quaintness... more

Took my grandson to Petco to watch Padres/Reds. EXPENSIVE! He wanted to get an autograph or two so we waited for over an hour to watch player after player ignore the dozen or so kids who were waiting patiently. They were all in a rush to get into their limo and leave or to just get on the visitiong team... more

I've been to a few ballparks, am a regular visitor to Shea and Fenway. I was dumbfounded at my first sight of Petco. But what waited for me was even more incredible... Petco prices are phenominal - if you want to have a seat behind the plate, you can pay almost half of what you pay at Fenway and that's... more
