Beautifully restored to the 1880s era of Old Point Loma's last keeper, Robert D. Israel, the lightouse abounds with personal touches like Maria Israel's seashell wall hangings and family daguerreotypes. The rooms are quaintly furnished and paint a picture of the rather quiet, remote life of a nineteenth-century lighthouse keeper.
