Simply put, one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places on earth. I saw one of the best sunsets of my life on a Friday afternoon in January. Would recommend to everyone, and luckily my friend lives in San Diego so I will visit again. more

I traveled all throughout San Diego last year with my husband and three children. We were everywhere, but Torrey Pines was by far the most memorable place we visited. My children were 13,9 and 5 at the time and being that we are an outdoor loving family, we were looking for a place easy enough to hike with the kids,... more

This has always been our favorite beach spots in all of SD County. Parking is close, restrooms on sight and life guards. Beautiful stretch of sand. When the kids get restless we hike up to look at the view. Pack a picnic and spend the day. more

Our family spent an afternoon at Torrey Pines but we could have been there much longer. There are quite a few trail choices and the views are breathtaking. My children also enjoyed watching the gliders take off from the cliffs. The visitor center has a lot of interesting information. It is quite dusty so bring an extra pair of shoes... more

This was one of my favorite parts of our visit to San Diego. My boyfriend and I spent a day hiking the trails at Torrey Pines and enjoyed the spectacular views overlooking the Pacific. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves to hike. I would also recommend that you bring some hand sanitizer with you because there is no... more

Not far from the city of San Diego, easy to get to. Beach was lovely and not crowded--a great taste of the more natural part of the area. more

Ok so we were excited about Torrey Pines but when we got there we were expecting to pay $4 like our new AAA book said it would but it was $8. We drove up the hill and there was almost no parking. The visitor center was small and all there was to do was hike. The pines are these shabby... more

We had a very nice 1/2 day excursion here. The walking is not strenuous at all and you are rewarded with very pleasant views. We were able to see dolphins at one of the overlooks. We also spent some time at the beach, which was not spectacular but still very nice. The one negative was that the restroom building was... more

We visited Torrey Pines for March Break from Toronto. For a super low price of $6 for the family we had an excellent time. They should advertise this place more, it is so beautiful. We went during the week so not busy at all. Highly recommended! more
