Do yourself a favor and take either Sunshine Helicopter Tours or Blue Hawaii Helicopter Tours on your next Hawaiian vacation. DO NOT take ALEX AIR. We booked the Mini Circle Island Tour through Alex Air and were very disappointed. It didn’t seem to be a circle island tour at all. And to make matters worse, our headsets weren’t working properly.... more

We had a wonderful experience with Alex Air. The Alex Air facilities were very clean. The staff was friendly, helpful and safety conscious. Our pilot was young, but very experienced and knowledgeable of the area. He was engaging and able to answer questions we had. Do not fly alex air!!! Our experience was a disaster. We arrived at 7:25, our flight was scheduled for 8:00am. We booked the Haleakala/Hana doors on heli tour! After being greeted and weighed we were told to go in the waiting room where a show of IZ was playing--no safety briefing! The other couple that were scheduled to fly came... more
