Aloha! Our group had a wonderful time on our hike. Our tour guide, Ray, was more than we could ask for in a guide. He had a great personality, was patient, and extremely informative. He was able to answer all of our "first time in Maui " questions. When we come back to Maui , we decided we would like... more

A tantalizing glimpse at the true nature and beauty of Maui. We were able to see , experience, and even taste, island treasures that few “hotel dwellers” ever get to. Special thanks to our most knowledgeable guide, "Ula Ula" aka Chris who not only had us swimming in beautiful waterfalls and traveling through lush foliage, he provided a most thorough... more

This was our 6th visit to Maui and we decided that this time we were going to try something totally different because we had already done many of the other activities. We looked up hiking adventures on the internet before we got their so we kind of had an idea what we wanted to do. We originally signed up for... more

My husband and visited Maui in Oct./Nov. 2008 for the first time and took a 3 hour waterfall and rainforest hike with Randy. We had a fabulous time! From the moment he picked us up at our hotel he was very friendly and knowledgeable about Hawaii and where we were hiking. It was an adventure to last a lifetime and... more

I would not hesitate to go on a hike again with this company. Our travel guide, Ray, was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. It was a beautiful hike, and getting to swim underneath the waterfalls was an incredible experience. I should also mention the lunch. The sandwiches were way better than I expected..... more

What a great hike! The views were spectacular and we felt that we were entering another world as we hiked down into the crater. The whole trip was greatly enhanced by the guide, Helga. We felt that we were hiking with a knowledgeable friend, not a professional guide, thanks. BTW, it's a lot easier hiking down than up! more

The hike we went on was not what we expected. The path was down in a ravine and not very different than the hikes we took on our own along the Hana Highway. Having to go at a slow pace because the other members of the tour group weren't used to hiking was exasperating. We shared the route with families... more

Aloha linkcontinental. Thank you for your feedback; it’s important to hear if, and why your hike was not what you expected. Our “Waterfalls and Rainforest” hikes are located in valleys where streams, over thousands of years, have carved out gorges, rock cliffs and waterfalls, and we usually explore the stream beds along with the forest trails and waterfalls. Parts of...

We experienced the Hawaii of our dreams on October 10, 2008. Our guide, Kahi of www.hikemaui.com, took us on a waterfall hike that was both fun and informative. We quickly learned that when he stopped, cried 'Oh!' and headed off into the woods ... that he would return to the path in a few seconds with a treat! Once it... more

We spent an awesome day hiking the Kipahulu Valley with our guide, Randy. We decided to book the Full Day Hana hike. It was so worth it. First of all, I have to say, not only was Randy a great guide, full of information, answering all of our many questions, but the Hike Maui staff was extremely helpful- BEFORE we... more

We went on a guided hike in the West Maui Mountains with Hike Maui and had a fabulous day. The guide was super informative and fun. We saw some beautiful bamboo groves and got to play in waterfalls. They have different areas they guide and when we go back we hope to use Hike Maui again. more
