Not cheap, though just reduced. But if you can afford it when you go here, pay for the private room etc. You'll get a beautifully laid out private changing room with a large private shower (wet room) with mood, blue lighting. You then go to a large lounge area with perhaps 2 or so other people. Complimentry drinks in front... more

Great place to relax for a few hours in the warm thermal waters. The Spa area i expect is very nice, but a little expensive for my tastes - i was happy to slap a bit of mud on myself and hope for the best. Go on, pamper yourself, lie in a very large, warm muddy bath for a while... more

The Blue Lagoon was very easy to get to with our hire car from Keflavik airport. Just on the main road with a short turn off. You cant miss it and it is clearly sign posted. In awe of the landscape we were so enthralled to see the spectacal of the steam rising up from the lagoon. It truely looks... more

Like many travelers to Iceland, we visited the Blue Lagoon on our last day in the country (on the way to the airport). As a result, we only had a few hours to enjoy this special place. It was not enough time! I had never seen anything like it. The steam rising everywhere, and the milky blue water were memorable.... more

We stopped by the Blue Lagoon as part of a layover in Iceland. It was a surprise from my husband and so I had no idea what to expect. When we arrived in the early morning the place was nearly empty and we were able to enjoy the lagoon almost to ourselves. There is a lot to enjoy, the water... more

The Blue Lagoon was on my list of things I wanted to see in my lifetime. I had high expectations, and I am happy to say, it was just as cool as I thought it would be. It definitely is an ethereal experience. Even while driving to the parking lot, you see small canals of this crystal blue water flowing... more

I’m not really sure what to say about the Blue Lagoon. I feel I should have liked it far more than I did, based on the reviews here, and wonder what went wrong with my visit. To paraphrase that Nathan Thurm character from the SNL sketch, “Is it me?...it’s them, right?” Maybe it’s a combination of both. I did not... more

The Blue Lagoon has to be one of the world's greatest hot springs. It is an amazing place to visit during a trip to Iceland. Located a short drive from Keflavik airport (15kms) and not too far form Reykjavik (40kms), it is well worth the $25 to visit for a few hours. In fact, we loved it so much we... more
