If you expect Interstate B B Q or Roundivious, stay away. If you are willing to settle for very good BBQ then Brett's may be for you. I had a combo plat of 1/2 rack or baby back ribs, 1/4 chicken (dark) and two sides. for around $21.00 I was stuffed but tempted to go back for another 1/2 rack.... more

Nice decor and welcoming staff, but service is lacking. We arrived on a Saturday at 5:00 PM and there looked to be only one other occupied table. Nevertheless it took much longer than it should have to fill our order. The Yakitori is not very good. It does not taste bad, it just lacks taste. I would avoid this and... more

Thanks to everyone's great ratings on TripAdvisor, my wife and I booked a 3 night stay for Jan 1-4, 2009. This B&B is perfectly located within a couple blocks of Balboa Park. Free parking is available inside their gated property. The guest rooms are huge and the entire house is beautifully decorated. Terry & Linda go out of their way... more
