We've gone to the Lagoon on each of our three visits to Iceland; we'll be back without fail. The best visit was in mid-December, taking the Reykjavik Excursions coach out there at 5pm, returning at 9pm. Yes, it’s a bit expensive... and yes, it’s tourist filled... but wow, it’s incredible.
