This restaurant came with glowing recommendations from locals so we were looking forward to a meal there. Unfortunately, we had a mediocre experience. We stayed here at the Ashbourne House for two nights in November 2008. All emails and phone contact were handled very professionally long before our arrival. We had a fabulous time at this lovely guesthouse. The owners were very friendly and the staff made us feel very welcome. They recommended some very good restaurants and pre booked them for us. We would definitely go back, and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Our room was luxurious and very recently refurbished to a high standard. more
