I think your appreciation of the Night Safari depends almost entirely on when you go. I went the day before New Year's eve and there was a huge and pushy crowd. The place was completely OVERSOLD. Booked this through their website. Got a very good rate. Realised why when I got there. The hotel was under renovation. Between 10am and 6pm, the drilling and jackhammering can literally drive you nuts. Fortunately I was there for business and not for a leisurely nap! We stayed here for three nights 11th - 14th December, 2008. We booked it through wotif mystery deal and it cost $150SGD a night. The room was quite average and the bathroom was small. But for the price we paid, it was fine because accommodation is usually so expensive in Singapore. We used the gym and pool a few times.... more
